Track Pageviews for Your WordPress Website
Are You Using WordPress VIP?
If so, use the WordPress VIP integration instead.
Step 1: Install the Plugin
- Navigate to the Known Agents Projects page and open your project
- Copy your access token from the Settings page
- Log in to your website's WordPress dashboard
- Click Plugins in the sidebar
- Search for Known Agents (Plugin Directory)
- Click Install Now
- Click Activate
Step 2: Enable Agent Analytics & AI Chat Referral Tracking
- Click Known Agents in the sidebar
- Paste in your access token
- Make sure the Enable Agent Analytics & AI Chat Referral Tracking box is checked
- Click Save Changes
Step 3: Test Your Integration
- Navigate to the Projects page
- Select your project
- Click Settings
- Click Send a Test Visit
- Click Realtime
If your website is correctly connected, you should see visits from a test agent in the realtime timeline within a few seconds.
Tips
- If you use page caching, it can serve content without running WordPress, so the plugin will not send analytics events for those requests. To capture cache-served requests, use an integration that runs before the cache, such as WordPress VIP log shipping, Cloudflare Logpush, or a custom edge integration using the REST API.
